It’s hard to dress for spring. But it’s even harder to pack for springtime vacations. No matter the destination, spring weather is unpredictable. Luckily for us, the super helpful travel blogger Nadine Sykora of Hey Nadine tells us how to pack for all kinds of trips, rain or shine.
In her newest video, Nadine packs her suitcase with versatile outfits and dishes helpful packing tips. She says to place your shoes at bottom of your suitcase, so their weight is as close to the wheels as possible. Who knew?
Nadine picked three Born shoes that will cover her entire vacation. Of her choices, she says, “Shoe selection is very important because they’re going to take up the most space in your luggage. Try to pick shoes that are transitional and versatile, so you can use them for multiple activities. Also, pick comfortable shoes.”
Her first choice is the SUNBURST sneaker in navy, which she traveled in. They’re great airport shoes: comfortable, breathable, and easy on, easy off. She says they’re best for casual days walking around and exploring, and highlights their removable, cushioned insole.
Her next choice is the BRECK in blush. BRECK is perfect for days when you want to be comfortable, but you also want to wear a cute outfit. She dresses her pair with cutoff jeans and an oversize orange sweater.
Because a vacation isn’t a vacation without dressing up at least one night, Nadine’s final choice is a wedge. She picks our BREAKER wedge in orange tan combo, pictured above. She wears this with a beautiful jumpsuit; a perfect dinner date look.
Packing is the most stressful part about a vacation. If you have a upcoming trip, let Nadine take the stress out of deciding which shoes to bring. Shop Nadine’s picks here.
