HONEY & CITRUS FOOT SCRUB—5 INGREDIENTS, 4 EASY STEPS
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
1 tablespoon honey (talk to your local beekeeper to get the good stuff)
1 tablespoon fresh citrus juice (grapefruit, orange, lemon, or lime)
1 tablespoon mango butter (cocoa butter or shea butter can also be used)
1 tablespoon jojoba oil, coconut oil, or sweet almond oil
In a microwave-safe bowl, use half-power to melt the mango butter and oil in short bursts. Blend in the honey, then the lime juice, stirring constantly. Add the salt and stir well. Then simply scoop the mixture into a clean jar. That’s it! This recipe makes one cup of skin-loving scrub. Store your scrub in the refrigerator, and use it within seven days. And be sure to label the jar clearly, this treat is just for feet.To use your spa-quality scrub, sit on the edge of the bathtub and massage a generous handful onto your legs, feet and especially your heels.
