Comfort is our favorite thing in the world, and not just when it comes to shoes. When we unveiled our Spring/Summer 2017 collection, we did so to the smell of delicious comfort foods being cooked up by celebrity chef Dan Churchill (@dan_churchill).
A few months ago we hosted an intimate press preview in Manhattan. In one corner of the cozy room, complete with exposed brick and rustic wooden tables, Dan whipped up a family-friendly three course meal. He cooked hearty pumpkin quinoa risotto, fish and sweet potato chips, and for dessert, a one-pan blueberry crumble.
Guests of our press preview include editors from top magazines and websites. The warm scent of hearty pumpkin risotto wafted throughout the warmly-lit showroom while editors perused the collection, pausing to feel supple leathers and press down on airy footbeds. After checking out our spring shoes, the crowd sharpened their photogenic chops during a food plating contest for Instagram. Dan picked the winner based on who best plated their food.
Between our shoes, and Dan’s delicious demo, editors left with a satisfying feeling of comfort. See more of our Spring 2017 collection here.
